Tri-Pack

Tri-Pack, also called Tri-Pak, Tri-Pac, Hackectten or Env ball, which was developed by Jaeger Inc in 1970s. Tri-Pack is similar as polyhedral hollow ball packing, provides maximum surface contact between the gas and the scrubbing liquid by facilitating continous formation of droplets througout the packed bed. This result in high scrubbing efficiency, and minimizes total packing depth required. Tri-Pack is mainly used in gas absorption and tail gas clean-up equipment.
