VSP Ring

VSP ring, also called Inner arc ring or Mella ring, a kind of packing similar to Pall ring, which has appeared in the 1980s. Its full name is Very Special Packing. VSP ring has reasonable geometric symmetry, which the inner arc are folded evenly along the axial direction and replaced alternated arranged. This design contributes a continuous surface for extremely high voidage and evenly distribution. Compared with pall ring, the fluxes are increased 15-30% and the pressure drop is reduced 20%–30%.
